Our Story
A world-class team of clinicians, scientists, and engineers advancing the future of neonatal brain monitoring through AI-powered medical technology.
NeuroBell is an Irish medtech company developing AI-powered neonatal brain monitoring technology to improve outcomes for the world’s most vulnerable patients. Founded as a spinout from University College Cork and the internationally recognised INFANT Research Centre, NeuroBell combines patent-pending technology, deep learning AI, and clinically annotated EEG datasets to make advanced neonatal brain monitoring more accessible worldwide. Founded by Dr. Mark O’Sullivan, Dr. Alison O’Shea, and Colm Murphy, the company secured €2.1 million in seed funding in 2023 from leading healthcare and technology investors. NeuroBell is an ISO 13485-certified medical device manufacturer, and its first product, NeuroBell Luna, is currently undergoing clinical validation ahead of regulatory submission.
